Because Tujenge uses an append-only ledger to protect all chama members, your historical contribution and loan records will be anonymised rather than fully deleted. This preserves the integrity of your group's financial history while removing your personal identity from the data.
What gets deleted
What happens when you delete your account
- Removed immediately: your name, phone number, and password hash.
- Removed immediately: your device push notification token.
- Anonymised (not deleted): your contribution and loan entries in the chama ledger — these will show as "Deleted member" to preserve the group record.
- Not affected: other chama members' records or the group balance history.

If you have access to your account, you can also request deletion directly by emailing privacy@rezotech.co.ke from your registered phone number or by contacting your chama chairperson to remove you.
